This spring you’ll have to find a different way to show off your legs because we’re all going more conservative in professional and sophisticated knee-length dresses. Whether you’re going on a date, going to a party, going ou for brunch, going wine touring in Napa, or going to work, there are midi dresses for each of these occasions.
For more casual events try a midi that has some sort of pattern like stripes or florals, and goes into a soft, flared skirt. If you want to wear one to work, opt for one that hugs the body without being too tight or too flared, and has 3-quarter length or long sleeves. If you’ve got a brunch or day-trip to Napa planned, wear a midi in a soft neutral or pastel color like beige, violet, light pink, light blue, etcetera. Opt for one that has some structural details like a visible zipper, collar, or belted waist.
Want to get a little more bold? Gucci’s Spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection featured this bright orange midi.
Got a party on the agenda? You could go fiery hot in a bold red or orange midi, or go for a sizzling slinky blue or teal body-con bandage dress.
For a classy and sexy evening look, you’ll be a knockout in a black midi that has sheer mesh sleeves, hot cutouts, and a low-cut back.
What’s your favorite midi style?!
