Don’t worry, the snakeskin is faux! Slither into these boots with a little black dress and a black leather moto jacket, and you’ll be looking rocker chic in no time! Platform, no platform, heels, wedges, take your pick!

Today’s blog outfit is inspired by the brown and white polka dot dress that Julia Roberts wore in the movie, Pretty Woman. Remember that gorgeous silky dress Vivian wears as she’s stomping on divots at the horse race? My dress is nowhere near as gorgeous as that one, but it still reminds me of it!
I completed the look with a white cardigan, navy pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes, a touch of red lipstick, and wavy hair that I created with my triple-barrel waver iron.
To make polka dots work for you, pair them with sophisticated separates and a seemingly effortless beauty regimen. Keep your eye makeup simple and your jewelry classic and old-fashioned. In Pretty Woman, Vivian transformed from a hooker into an elegant lady in a brown polka-dot dress. Just wait and see how classy and elegant you’ll feel when you try one on!

Today’s look was inspired by my nostalgic feeling to re-embrace my history with over-the-top high heel shoes.
With party shoes on the bottom, I kept my outfit classy and simple on top.
This Spring add some fun to your look with a punch of color, a touch of prints, and flirty flared skirt.
I accessorized this look with a gold-chain belt taken from one of my other dresses and I added a large-faced black Armani Exchange watch to make this girly look a little more slick.
Happy Friday!

Ever love something that other people think you’re crazy for? It’s times like these when it’s good to be the kind of person that dresses to impress oneself and not others.
1. Jean Overalls
I remember back to high-school when I had a pair of baggy blue jean overalls from Miss Sixty. I was in love with them, but I was the only one! I’ve yet to find a guy who endorses women wearing overalls, but nonetheless they’re prevalent in all the hottest fashion retailers for women.
2. Wide-leg pants
They’re making a comeback this season. I love them because they’re comfortable and they have that perfect balance between being a pant and being swanky and comfortable like a dress. These pants have varying degrees of wideness depending on the pair, so you can choose to stay relatively tame or go completely nuts in a pair like the ones featured below.
3. clogs
The chunky-ness adds a level of grunge chic and comfort that other high heels do not.
All of the above pictures have one thing in common. They were all on sale. Hmm..maybe women don’t love these trends after all. Or do too many women care about what men think?
I have to admit that my current closet does not contain a pair of jean overalls, wide leg pants, or clogs, but I’ve been tempted by overalls and wide-leg pants many times. What do you think of these trends?

J. Molly

Haha, the title’s an oxymoron. You can’t!
But here’s why you shouldn’t care. This season white is everywhere. From tops, to pants, to dresses, and down to your shoes, the color of purity is key.
Shoes will inevitably get dirty or scuffed-up the more you wear them, and yes these marks are easier to see on white fabric, but white shoes have their time and place. These Giuseppe Zanotti’s would look devilishly good with a pair of white skinny jeans to wear to the bar.
Add a little sense of lightness to your look with these feather Jeffrey Campbell shoes.
If you’re dressing up for the evening, add a little bit of sparkle with these rhinestone peep-toe pumps from Nordstrom.
White shoes will look great paired with a pair of white jeans, a summer flare dress, or even something as casual as blue jean overalls. Avoid puddles and dirt if possible, but other than that, it’s time to give your white shoes some street time.

My favorite kinds of shoes are the ones you look at and think, what the fuck is going on there?
Think about it, when you’re at a museum, the most amazing works of art are the ones that make you want to stare at them for more than five seconds.
So I have compiled a bundle of shoes that have made me take a second look. Should they be classified as shoes? works of art? pieces of architecture? or pure genius?
Beauty comes in all different shapes, at all different prices, and in many different brands. Be kind to your feet. Dress them with style.

With the Spring approaching and warm weather on the rise, it’s time to do your legs some justice in bodycon silhouettes. I experimented with my new navy bodycon dress from Forever 21, pairing it with different jewelry, different accessories, and colorful clothes.
Try pairing a solid-color dress with big, chunky, colorful jewelry like a bold pair of statement earrings or a statement necklace. To add a touch of boho to the look, throw on some hair jewelry, either in the form of a chain headpiece or a jeweled headband.
To make your look more casual, try wearing a basic casual shirt over the dress. You’ll still get the appeal of the tight body-forming skirt without having the entire skin-tight dress showing.
Next, it’s time to spice up the look with a colorful moto jacket. I paired the navy dress with a 3.1 Philip Lim zip up jacket. Leave it unzipped for a more casual, informal look.
To make the outfit a touch more glamorous, I added a Swarovski necklace. Keep the jewelry simple when wearing a bold jacket so that you don’t have too many pieces fighting for all the attention.
Last but not least, I wore a pair of Jeffrey Campbell pointed toe stiletto pumps. Because after all, Jeffrey Campbell can make every outfit a bit more special…
So have fun with bodycon styles this Spring. Make them casual, make them fancy, make them sexy, or make them conservative…the choice is yours.

1. Nasty Gal Cut-out Romper in Shiny Pink:
This may not be the most practical outfit, but it will nonetheless have you stand out in any crowd. Pair it with a pair of diamond stud earrings and a brown metallic sandal, and you’ll be ready to rock the streets.
2. Standout Sweater
Make a statement with this intricate sweater. Pair it with faded jeans for a casual look or a pencil skirt for a more sophisticated and professional look.
3. Add a Little More Color to your Life
Pair these color-blocked shoes with a long-sleeve little black dress and you’ll achieve style perfection. Thanks to the handy ankle strap, you can get ready to dance your butt off without worrying these pumps will go flying off your feet.

…with high heels of course.
Shoes are a synonym for life. The best ones are outside of the box. The best ones surprise you. The best moments are created when you’re teetering on the edge.
Set your chains free with these high heel link booties.
If these don’t make enough of a statement for you, take your shoes to all new heights with these:
No, I did not photoshop the height of these sandals. They are perfect just the way they are. If anyone can come up with a good suggestion for where to wear a pair of shoes like this, I will be thoroughly impressed. I’d suggest avoiding stairs, bumpy sidewalks, and a pebbly ground.
Enjoy with care.

It’s all about making a statement this week. And no I do not mean shoving a pie in someone’s face. I mean wearing a pair of shoes that make random people you don’t know, say “nice shoes!”
Take a look at these beauties.
Enough Said.
Here are some valuable tips from me to you:
You’re only as cool as the shoes on your feet.
You can’t fuck up a first impression if your shoes are in style.
People WILL judge you by your shoes.
No pain, no gain.
Fashion speaks louder than words. Let your shoes do the screaming.

J. Molly
