Natural Ways to Comfort a Hangover and Hide it in Style

For some of us who may have made too much liberal use of the Sunday bottomless mimosa brunch concept, Monday mornings can be an even bigger hassle than usual.

Here are a few natural ways you can comfort your suffering, hungover self:

  1. Sip on some peppermint tea

2. Add some ginger

3. Get a Vitamin C boost with Orange Juice

4. Opt for foods high in potassium like bananas, avocados, potatoes, and spinach

5. Drink tons of water

If none of that works, your next option for curing your hangover is “pretending” your hangover is cured.  How do we pretend?  We dress to impress, instead of dressing the way we feel!  Adding some color to your look will distract from the darkness you feel inside.  Big circular shades are not only super trendy, but also super convenient to hide dark circles under your eyes.



Trip to Newport Beach: Black Bikini, Sun, and Mimosas


Some say home is where your family is.  Some say home is where you grew up.  Some say home is where you currently live.  I say home is where you get that warm, fuzzy feeling that starts in your heart and spreads through your entire body.  For me, that’s Newport Beach.  It’s beautiful, serene, calm, eventful, fun, and relaxing. This year’s vacation was round two in Newport!

A black bikini, vintage square black sunglasses, sun, palm trees, mimosas, and the immensity of the Pacific Ocean, are all you need for a great vacation!

This is how we roll…no such thing as too many mimosas at Mutt Lynch’s. One of these mimosas is 32oz. They may not be bottomless, but the size of the glass surely gives the illusion that they are!

What to Wear to a Brunch or Tea Party

For some, going out to brunch with friends is about the food, but for others, it’s about how much fun it is to wear a brunch-worthy outfit.  Since it’s not the 20th century anymore, your elegant lady-like brunch look should be modern, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take your inspiration from the early 1900’s.

The look featured above will make any brunch more glamorous.  To get this look, start with a long flared silky skirt with a colorful pattern.  Bring all the attention to your feet by wearing a pair of bright booties that match one of the colors in the skirt.  Keep your shirt simple so that you can wear the most magnificent jewelry.  A chunky crystal necklace will make you feel like a glamorous elegant lady.

As you’re sipping your bottomless mimosas, add a little sunshine to your hand by wearing a big gemstone ring that could blind someone if they stare too long.  Carry your personal items in a classic black clutch.

Last but not least, keep your makeup simple.  Add a neutral color lipstick to your lips for a bit of sassy sparkle.
